-Responsible for a line of activity in the PRIN PNRR MUD-MADE project focusing on a novel artificial intelligence-supported workflow useful for designing raw earth building components produced with digital manufacturing technology (i.e. 3D printing, robotic arm or laser cutter).

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY

The research activity is concentrated on artificial intelligence techniques, with reference to machine learning and deep learning approaches on various types of data, pattern recognition approaches and knowledge representation and extraction methods. She is co-author of more than 150 research works, with more than 40 contributions in scientific journals, co-organizer of scientific events on the topics of pattern recognition and intelligent systems, and member of the editorial boards of well-known journals in the sector.
